Bicep curls. I’ve done a lot of them, I’ve also done a lot of them wrong, but I’ve learned from my mistakes, watched a whole lot of youtube videos on them and came to my perfect bicep curl.
Bicep curls are the foundation of big arms, as biceps are not hard to grow. The skin as I was told on my last post by the user: thismisscooks, is thinner at the biceps. Meaning making them pop is easier. Careful though as easier doesn’t necessarily mean easy. Bicep curls are still pretty straightforward. This post is just for those not feeling comfortable with their current bicep curling and want a refresher.
Let’s get right into it! Leave a comment if you agree or disagree with my perfect bicep curl. I love your guys’ feedback.
The dumbells should be gripped with your fingers pointing outwards. The exercise can be done the other way around but that will also change the eventual muscle growth over time resulting in bigger forearms.
Always make sure you’re comfortable that’s a first, second, your feet should be spread a little so you don’t shake. The idea is to stand in a robot-like fashion and really try to keep everything as straight as possible. this will prevent back pain. The dumbells are positioned at your sides right in front of the hips. NOT TWISTED 90 DEGREES. We’re not doing hammer curls
The movement will be shockingly easy to understand but it’s the execution that counts. Therefore, as I always recommend. Get a spot at a mirror and practice until it looks good what you’re doing. Try to make it look like you know what you’re doing, create your own technique. Practice, practice, practice.
Please let me know if this helped you in any way. I’d like to know.
Have fun pumping those biceps!
